Background
Cooperstown Chapter TU was founded in 1997 and has over 25 members. This Chapter meets on the third Tuesday of the month in Wayne Clinton's conference room at 20 Chestnut Street in Cooperstown on the second floor above Lippitt's Jewelers & Lamb Realty in the yellow building on the NW corner of the intersection of Main and Chestnut Streets. The Chapter's territory and cold-water fisheries include Ostego Lake, Upper Susquehanna River, Arnold Lake, Basswood Pond, Otego Creek, Oaks Creek, Red Creek, Fly Creek, Butternut Creek, Wharton Creek, Hayden Creek and Shadow Brook.

Activities
Cooperstown-TU activities and projects include fly tying, casting and rod building instruction as well as local stream cleanups and bank stabilization. Partnerships include SUCO Biologial Field Station and the Otsego County Soil & Water Conservation District.
